DBS Asia Hub

If I could rate it as negative stars I would. If you want to see what a Company is like look at its employees. DBS employees need a refresher on code of conduct. Went over to pick up work documents, advised the receptionist on the name of the banker and she could not even tell which tower is the banker working from her excuse her system does not state the tower. I tried calling the banker but was unable to get in touch with her. Took quite a pleading on my part to request the receptionist to give her a call who quote unquote said "oh you dont have her number". A fellow guest quoted the same bankers first name so i asked him if i could tell me which tower is the banker located at. He politely pointed out the banker could have a different last name so i retracted my request and looked at the receptionist who was apparently smirking. Given that guest have to identify the employee they are meeting shouldn't it make sense for them to also have a record of the tower which they are working from. There was a conference or event going on downstairs and after retrieving my work documents when I took the lift to go down. Without even waiting for me to alight the lift. A lady standing with her arms folded walked into the lift followed by the remaining DBS bankers. I assume she is someone higher up given that the rest were meekly standing behind her. Give way to alighting passengers even a preschool kid knows that. Visit the building to educate yourself on bad customer service.

DBS Asia hub own forest Garden. Different herbs, edible plants and fruits are available here. Today we volunteered for tending the garden. I did some planting purple of sweet potatoes, pulling old plants, replanting young ones, clearing unwanted weeds, adding materials to the compost. Then we have tasted some herbs like the wild/ice mint and eaten mulberry fruit. Our gardener (Fion) also was good to introduce us to different herbs and the cycle of doing gardening. Overall experience was good 👍

DBS owned office building located at the east side of Singapore island. Total 9 levels housing mostly the technical, operations and customer service team etc. Very modern and functional with it's own staff cafeteria and Spinelli coffee joint. The new wing is a 6 level building attached to the main DBS Asia Hub consisting 2 office levels, 3 levels of training rooms and a lobby with mini amphitheatre.
